Asmara, 29 March 2024 – President Isaias Afwerki sent a message of congratulations, on behalf of the people and Government of the State of Eritrea and on his own behalf, to President Bassirou Diomaye Faye on his election as President of the Republic of Senegal.
In his message, President Isaias Afwerki expressed his trust that his election will advance the tasks of economic development and progress in the Republic of Senegal and inspired by his refreshing perspectives and positions on the global architecture of governance.
President Isaias reiterated that the convergence and alignment of respective positions of the two countries bodes well for consolidation of bilateral ties of cooperation between the two countries.
President Isaias also wished good health to President Bassirou Diomaye Faye and every success in all his endeavors as well as peace and prosperity to the people of the Republic of Senegal.
