ASUS has announced the ROG Xbox Ally X20 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers line. Retaining the core ergonomic footprint of its predecessor, the refreshed handheld features a translucent black chassis accented with gold highlights alongside a major display upgrade: a 7.4-inch Nebula HDR OLED panel replacing the previous 7-inch IPS screen. The new display delivers deeper contrast and colour saturation alongside elevated luminance, scaling from 600 nits nominal brightness to a peak of 1,400 nits.

Under the hood, the Ally X20 retains the performant internal hardware of the original model while making subtle control adjustments:
