Nairobi — WildMango has partnered with OpenAI to expand access to advanced artificial intelligence technologies across Africa.
Under the agreement, WildMango becomes one of OpenAI’s first SMB partners on the continent, enabling businesses, institutions and developers to adopt and scale AI solutions tailored to local needs.
The partnership will focus on distributing, integrating and localising AI tools to support productivity, decision-making and service delivery across sectors.

WildMango Co-Founder Serah Katusya said the collaboration aims to position Africa within the global AI transformation.
“Our partnership with OpenAI positions Africa at the forefront of the global AI transformation. We are striving to make sure Africa is not left behind,” she said.
The initiative will prioritise expanding access to AI tools, adapting them to African markets, supporting developers and enterprises with training, and fostering innovation through partnerships with startups, corporates and research institutions.
OpenAI’s Senior Partner Enablement Manager Ben Tyson said the move is part of efforts to grow the company’s footprint in Africa.
“This partnership will enable companies, startups, developers and institutions to leverage our models to accelerate growth, efficiency and impact,” he said.
The collaboration also aims to promote responsible AI deployment, focusing on safety, inclusivity and long-term societal benefits.
The deal comes amid rising demand for AI solutions across Africa, driven by expanding digital infrastructure, growing startup ecosystems and increased adoption of technology in both private and public sectors.
