Vodacom has launched its ambitious Summer 2025 specials, featuring a blend of aggressive data bundles, extended free access to premium streaming services, and a massive rewards program designed to make eight customers millionaires. The promotions cater to both prepaid and contract customers and are available until the end of February.

Vodacom is leveraging key partnerships to boost the value of its offerings:
- Prepaid Headline Bundle: The top deal, available exclusively on the VodaPay app, is a R99 bundle that includes 7.5GB anytime data, 7.5GB Night Owl data, and 5GB dedicated YouTube data. Prepaid bundles range in price from R49 to R479.
- Contract Headline Offer: Postpaid customers can grab a 200GB contract for R299 per month (100GB anytime data and 100GB Night Owl data), which also includes an allocation for YouTube.
- YouTube Premium: Customers buying a promotional bundle (prepaid) or activating/upgrading a contract (postpaid) will receive two months of free access to YouTube Premium.
- Amazon Prime Video: All prepaid customers, simply by recharging and interacting on Vodacom platforms, will receive 12 months of free Amazon Prime Video mobile edition. Postpaid customers also get the same 12-month access.
RED VIP customers receive a further boost, securing lifetime access to the full, lean version of Amazon Prime Video for as long as they remain a subscriber.
The core of this summer’s campaign is the rewards program, which Vodacom describes as its most ambitious yet:
- Millionaires Made: The biggest draw will see Vodacom “make eight customers millionaires,” with two winners receiving R1 million each, every month, for the duration of the campaign.
- V-Up Rewards: The popular V-Up programme is returning, allowing customers to open daily “loot boxes” containing rewards that range from free data allocations and restaurant vouchers to entries into the cash prize draws.
- VodaBucks Giveaways: 100 customers will win one million VodaBucks each during the Summer Campaign.
Postpaid customers also get supercharged VodaBucks earning rates: entry-level packages earn 20% additional VodaBucks, Core products earn 30% more, and RED VIP subscribers will earn 50% more for every rand spent (provided they pay their bill on time).
Additionally, customers can now redeem their VodaBucks at physical Vodacom Stores to purchase accessories, adding a new dimension to the rewards program.
