Realme launches a phone with a 10,001mAh battery

Realme is turning its ambitious battery concepts into a reality with the launch of the P4 Power, debuting in India on January 29th. The device features a massive 10,001mAh capacity, fulfilling the promise of the high-capacity prototypes the company teased earlier this year.

Despite the enormous cell, the P4 Power remains surprisingly portable. By utilizing silicon-carbon battery technology, Realme has managed to keep the device relatively slim with a weight of just 218g. This puts it in direct competition with the China-exclusive Honor Power 2, but the P4 Power’s India launch makes this level of endurance far more accessible to the global market. Realme estimates the device will provide three and a half days of light use on a single charge.

One of the most practical features of the P4 Power is its 27W reverse charging capability. This output is fast enough to allow the phone to function as a legitimate portable power bank, capable of quickly topping up other smartphones, earbuds, or accessories in a pinch.
