Leaked hands-on photos, shared by leaker @Jukanlosreve, seemingly confirm that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a thinner and sleeker design. These images offer a real-world glimpse of the next-generation foldable from multiple angles, aligning with previous renders and hinting at significant aesthetic and structural improvements.

The new photographs largely corroborate earlier renders, showcasing a larger yet slimmer chassis. Reports suggest the device will be around 4.5mm thick when unfolded, a notable reduction from its predecessor, the 5.6mm Galaxy Z Fold 6. This slimmer profile would allow the Z Fold 7 to better compete with some of the thinnest foldables currently on the market from rivals like Google and Oppo. While official measurements await next week’s launch event, the visible SIM tray, which appears to span the entire vertical space, strongly suggests a very slender build. The bottom edge of the device also clearly shows the speakers and microphone.

The rear camera array has received a distinct redesign. The chunky black rings around the lenses seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 have been replaced with slim silver ones, offering a more refined look. This new camera design contrasts nicely with a striking blue colour option, possibly the “Blue Shadow” colourway hinted at in previous leaks.
New specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 have also emerged from an EU smartphone label revealed by MysteryLupin. This leak indicates the device will feature the same battery life as its predecessor, expected to last up to 40 hours and 28 minutes on a single charge. The phone reportedly carries an IP48 rating, meaning it can withstand short periods of submersion in water but remains susceptible to fine dust particles, a common limitation for many foldable devices.
More details are expected at Samsung’s Unpacked event on July 9th. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is anticipated to be unveiled alongside the latest Z Flip 7. There’s also speculation that a new trifold Galaxy phone might be introduced at the event, further expanding Samsung’s lineup of foldable devices.
