In the past, we’ve seen the best robot vacuums go on sale during Black Friday. Some of our favorite brands, like Shark, Bissell, and Dyson, usually get marked down significantly, and this year is no different.
Which type of vacuum should I buy?
Upright: This type of vacuum is what most would consider standard. An upright vacuum plugs into the wall and has a motor, dustbin, removable hose, and cleaning head within a single unit. These models are powerful but can often be heavy and hard to maneuver.
Robot: A robot vacuum is ideal for those who want hands-free cleaning. Simply set the schedule for the robot, and the machine will clean your floors according to the schedule. These vacuums can easily pick up dust and dirt, but they often struggle with bigger messes due to their lower suction power and smaller dustbins.
Cordless: Cordless vacuums are one of the most popular vacuum cleaners on the market, and their convenience makes it easy to see why. These lighter-weight models don’t need to be plugged into an outlet during use but keep in mind that they require frequent recharging.
Handheld: A small portable vacuum cleaner is great for getting hard-to-reach spots in small spaces, and a handheld vacuum is the perfect machine for the job. While these models lack strong motors and are limited by the size of their dustbins, they’re lightweight and convenient.
