It’s officially Black Friday 2023, which means everything from home appliances and TVs to mattresses, video games, and laptops are all heavily discounted. But some of the best sales we’ve seen so far are on Apple’s iPads, making this one of the best times all year to buy a new tablet.
These deals include $100 off the 10th-generation iPad, with the 64GB Wifi model selling for $349 and the 256GB Wifi model for $499. You can also snag a 9th-generation iPad for $100 off, including the 64GB Wifi model for $230, which is one of the lowest prices we’ve seen. The 9th-generation 256GB Wifi model is on sale as well for $380. Some iPad Air models are also on sale through Black Friday.
All Apple iPad Black Friday deals are expected to last through at least midnight on November 24, though with how good the discounts are, we recommend jumping on them immediately. Apple iPad Black Friday FAQs
Is Black Friday a good time to buy an iPad?
Yes, Black Friday is a great time to invest in an iPad. Not only are iPads available at a discount, but there are several different model years and generations available, so there’s plenty of variety to choose from. This also includes different storage options, as well as both Wifi and cellular models.
Compared to other sales events, Black Friday’s iPad prices equal some of the best we’ve seen all year. You can expect to see similar prices across most models that were available during Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Prime Day sales.
What’s the best iPad model to buy?
This ultimately comes down to what kind of storage you need, whether you prefer a cellular connection in addition to Wifi, and what your budget is. For instance, the 64GB 9th-generation iPad with only Wifi connectivity is $230 while the 256GB 10-generation iPad with Wifi is $500. That’s a $270 price gap with the biggest difference being added storage and the fact the 10-generation model is one year newer.
Does the iPad go on sale often?
Yes, the iPad does seem to be on sale often, though it’s typically during sales events like Black Friday or something like Prime Day. Although they do go on sale a few times throughout the year, rest assured that the prices you see during Black Friday are among the best prices the iPad is at all year.
