Africa Celebrates Culture, Creativity At Miss and Mister Tourism Africa International 2025 World Finals


The city of Jos, Plateau State, came alive in dazzling colors and pride as it hosted the Miss and Mister Tourism Africa International 2025 World Finals, an event that celebrated the continent’s beauty, culture, and tourism potential. The grand finale brought together contestants from 23 African nations, transforming the city into a global stage for creativity, unity, and cultural excellence.

In partnership with the Government of Plateau State, under the visionary leadership of Governor Caleb Mutfwang, the world finals reaffirmed Jos’ status as Nigeria’s “Tourism Heartbeat.” With its cool weather, scenic hills, and unmatched hospitality, the city once again proved to be a perfect backdrop for international events that celebrate Africa’s identity and pride.

From captivating performances to thought-provoking advocacy speeches, the event showcased not only beauty but also intellect and purpose.

The highlight of the evening came with the crowning of Africa’s newest tourism ambassadors. Reyna Amboorallee of Mauritius emerged as Miss Tourism Africa International 2025, impressing judges with her grace, intellect, and strong advocacy for sustainable tourism. Neolin Jacob of Botswana clinched the 1st Runner-Up position, while Nigeria’s Margaret Abbah finished as 2nd Runner-Up.

On the men’s side, Ednilton Delgado Da Cruz Silva from Cape Verde claimed the prestigious title of Mister Tourism Africa International 2025, followed by Takunda Ryan Chitope of Zimbabwe as 1st Runner-Up and Evans Ezekiel of Nigeria as 2nd Runner-Up.

In recognition of their eloquence and leadership, Jenna Andson Marie-Ange MEIYE DECASTEL (Gabon) and Zamzam Godana (Kenya) were named Miss Tourism Africa International Ambassadors, tasked with promoting Africa’s tourism story across borders.

At the heart of the pageant lies a deeper mission anchored on three core pillars — Tourism, Talent, and Trade. This vision seeks to drive Africa’s development by merging culture, creativity, and commerce.

The Founder and President of the organization, Ambassador Seth Santiago Roberts, described the initiative as “a renaissance of Africa’s identity — where culture meets commerce and creativity becomes a bridge to economic growth.”

“This platform was built to give Africa a voice — one that speaks through our youth, our culture and our innovation,” Amb. Roberts stated. “Every contestant here represents a living story of Africa’s potential. Through tourism, we’re not just showcasing destinations; we’re showcasing who we are and who we can become.”
