Asmara, 31 May 2024 – Eritrean professional cyclist Biniam Girmay, a member of the Belgian Intermarché-Wanty Cycling Club, has won the 82nd Circuit Franco Belge held on 29 May in Belgium.
Biniam completed the one-day race in 4 hours, 37 minutes, and 52 seconds. He was followed by French rider Axel Zingle of the COFIDIS team and Swiss rider Marc Hirschi of the UAE Emirates team.
A total of 137 competitors participated in the race, with 95 finishing and 42 dropping out.
