Asmara, 03 July 2024 – Ambassador Alem Tsehaye, Eritrea’s Ambassador to India, has presented his credentials to President Mohamed Muizzu of Maldives as the non-resident Ambassador to that country.
At the event held on 1 July, Ambassador Alem conveyed a message of goodwill from President Isaias Afwerki to President Mohamed Muizzu and the people of Maldives, expressing Eritrea’s readiness to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.
President Mohamed Muizzu, noting the encouraging relations since the two countries established formal diplomatic relations in 2021, expressed good wishes to President Isaias Afwerki and the Eritrean people, and wished Ambassador Alem a successful tenure.
